A COMMUNIQUE ISSUED AT THE END OF THE MEETING  BY VOICE OUT WOMEN (VOW) ON THE 14TH DAY OF APRIL 2025 AT FRASIER SUITES ABUJA, NIGERIA.

LATEST EVENTS IN THE PDP.  That with the latest happenings in the party the AG National chairman Amb. Iliya Damagun should rise up to the occasion of this time bomb ticking to explode , how can we see a time bomb right on time and let it explode? No! Stand up to these Governors with the backing up of the PDP constitution, let our governors know they're in the wrong . Reject the recommendations of the governors forum, for It is completely unconstitutional.

2.We call on the deputy national secretary not to allow himself to be used as a tool to destroy the party, don't let the governors who have temporal & chosen amnesia, who have refused to respect the rule of law mislead you.

3.It is crystal clear at this point that the aim of the PDP governors forum is to weaken the party. The governor of Oyo State clearly did not support the party in it's 2023 presidential elections, attending such a meeting by a host who was PDAPC just a moment ago should have been a no no even for the party leadership. We do not call our elders to our homes because we are buoyant to resolve the crisis,  we go to the elders in the village to resolve the crisis. Where is the village? PDP secretariat Wadata.

4.The governors forum is not constitutionally recognised by the party but known as a forum where the governors meet to discuss issues affecting their various states, and how to strengthen the party structure in their various states.Let us hear more of the giant strides our governors are making in their states instead of becoming a full extension of the NWC.

5.Part of the reasons the governors gave for recommending the deputy national secretary was the fear of losing out in the upcoming gubernatorial elections in Anambra State, which we strongly disagree with. We call on the acting National chairman to stop this mirage now. Where is Sentoji from? Have you not completely thrown the Eastern region out, if these are truly the fears of the governors forum. Sen. Samuel Anyanwu is the PDP national secretary. He is sound, hale and hearty. Stop the governors who are mostly in their second term and at the exit from  

razing down our party before they exit...
