Nigeria’s Super Eagles to play Swaziland on Friday
Hopefully, by God’s grace we will try our best. But the boys are in good spirit so I am optimistic,’ Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh has disclosed, as his team faces a less rated Swaziland side on Friday, November 13, 2015.
With Nigeria still in high spirits following the Golden Eaglets’ 5th World Cup win last Sunday, the senior national side will be expected to draw inspiration from the young lads as they face the East Africans. The bout, a second round of 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier, will come up at the Somholo National Stadium in Lobamba, Swaziland while the 2nd leg comes up on Tuesday, November 17 in Port Harcourt.
Nigerian star, who plies his trade for American side, Seattle Sounders, Obafemi Martins, will be making a return to the team alongside Mikel Obi, Ogenyi Onazi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Alex Iwobi, Odion Ighalo, team captain Ahmed Musa and others.
This is the first time both teams are meeting. The Super Eagles is currently ranked 59th in the world by FIFA, while Swaziland sits in the 130th spot. The match comes up 7pm Nigerian time.
