Expensive, but not the most expensive movie ever made.
SPECTRE reportedly needs to make $US650 million ($A909.66 million) at the global box office to break even, raising questions once again on the phenomenal price tags of movies.
But industry executives say there’s a higher price tag to break even because the film’s backers have to split revenues with exhibitors.

But despite the ($A51.40 million) spent on crashing and blowing up Aston Martin cars, Spectre isn’t the most expensive film ever made.
The third and fourth films in the Pirates of the Caribbean series both cost even more.
Although it is difficult to determine a film’s budget, especially when you consider inflation, here is a list of some of the most expensive films ever made, according to IMDb and Forbes.
