Group Drums Support for Atiku

As a run up to the 2019 presidential election, more groups drums up support for the candidature of the Peoples Democratic Party’s, Atiku Abubakar.

A group known as “Atiku4sure2019” has called on its members across the federation to support and vote for former vice president Atiku Abubakar and his running mate, Peter Obi .

The appeal was made yesterday in Abuja at a press briefing by the national coordinator of Atiku4sure 2019, Mr Victor Ngoka. He stated that there is urgent need to change the present government because it has failed in providing the primary functions of government.

“If a government cannot create job opportunities, obey the rule of law and protect its citizens, such government should not be allowed to continue to manage the affairs of the nation because it is not bringing any new idea that will fix the problems facing this country,” he said.

He urged members of the organization to support the credible alternative in the duo of Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi who had track records of performance and capacity when they held sway in the past to pilot the affairs of the nation in the best interest of Nigerian. He also charged them to be vigilant as campaign activities draw closer.

“You don’t choose a leader because you like him; you choose a leader because you know he has the character, competence and capacity to deliver on the mandate. Former vice president, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi both have these qualities.

Atiku Abubakar is the competent leader Nigerians need come 2019 to move Nigeria to the promise land”, he added.
